Diagnostic Reference
Normal ranges, ECG interpretation guides, radiology reporting frameworks and histopathology reference patterns.
Explore MedNextAbout Diagnostic Reference
Investigation interpretation is a distinct skill from disease knowledge, and it is heavily tested. This collection gathers the normal ranges, the ECG method, the systematic chest-radiograph framework, the arterial blood gas approach and the fluid-analysis tables that turn raw results into decisions.
The recurring theme is method over memory. Examiners reward a reproducible, stepwise interpretation of an ECG, a film or a blood gas far more than a lucky spot diagnosis.

How to use diagnostic reference to study
Adopt one systematic sequence per investigation and use it every time, whether reading an ECG, a chest film or an arterial blood gas, until the method is automatic.
Memorise the normal ranges cold. Interpretation is impossible without them, and they are quick marks that decay without regular recall.
Practise on graded examples rather than reading passively, and confirm each interpretation against the linked chapter to close the loop.
