Why MedNext exists
Most medical prep does one thing. MedNext was built to do the whole job of learning medicine.
Medical students are handed a fragmented toolkit: one app for video lectures, another for a question bank, a printed formulary, a separate set of notes, and nothing that ties them together. MedNext Academy was built to replace that patchwork with a single, coherent platform, one that follows a doctor from the first pre-clinical year through the postgraduate entrance and into clinical practice.
The idea is simple and, we think, overdue: the same clinician-written chapter, delivered across 15 study modes, sitting beside the practice questions, the visual cheat sheets, the drug formulary and the clinical calculators a doctor actually reaches for on the ward. Learning, revision, practice and reference, in one place, mapped to the curriculum you are examined on.
This is what a modern medical education platform should look like, and it is the standard MedNext is built to.
What makes MedNext different
Four things you will not find bundled together on a typical prep platform.
The whole journey, not one exam
MBBS Years 1 to 4 university exams and NEET-PG, INI-CET and FMGE, in one subscription. Most platforms start at the exit exam; MedNext starts at first year.
Clinical tools built in
An 1,800+ drug formulary, 105 clinical calculators, 105 annotated ECG strips and 106 differential diagnoses, beside the study material, not sold as a separate product.
15 study modes per topic
Notes, audio, flashcards, MCQs, video, mnemonics, mind maps and more, so every learner studies in the format that fits their brain and their schedule.
Written by clinicians, mapped to the curriculum
Every chapter is drafted by NHS consultants and trainees, checked against up-to-date global guidelines, and mapped to the NMC competency framework.
How our content is made
Editorial standards, stated plainly.
Who writes it. MedNext content is drafted by NHS consultants and trainees, practising clinicians who know both the medicine and the exam. It is then formatted for the platform and checked against current, up-to-date global guidelines before publication.
How AI is used. AI powers how you study the material, through the 15 study modes, adaptive practice and search. It is never the source of the clinical facts. No unreviewed AI output reaches a learner.
How errors are handled. Sources are reviewed when guidance changes, and verified errors are corrected. We do not present unconfirmed reviewers, credentials or governance roles we cannot stand behind, and we would rather be honest about that than inflate it.
Who MedNext is for
MedNext is built India-first for the exams Indian medical students actually sit, NEET-PG, INI-CET and FMGE, and for the MBBS university years that lead up to them. The learning platform itself, the chapters, the study modes and the clinical tools, is global, and works for any MBBS student anywhere.
Whether you are a first-year student meeting anatomy for the first time, a final-year preparing for university exams, a graduate targeting a top postgraduate seat, or a foreign medical graduate sitting the screening test, MedNext is designed to be the one platform you keep open.
