Indications and dose
**Dyspepsia**
- **Adult** (By Mouth Using Oral Suspension): 10 mL 3 times a day, dose to be taken in water.
Contraindications
Hypophosphataemia
Side effects

Hepatic impairment
In patients with fluid retention, avoid antacids containing large amounts of sodium. Avoid antacids containing magnesium salts in hepatic coma if there is a risk of renal failure.
Renal impairment
Magnesium carbonate mixture has a high sodium content; avoid in patients with fluid retention. Dose adjustments Avoid or use at a reduced dose; increased risk of toxicity.
