How to report an error in MedNext content, and how reports are triaged, reviewed, corrected and logged.

MedNext Academy Private Limited (MedNext) corrects factual errors, outdated references and unclear wording in its educational content, whether found by our own review cycles or reported by learners and faculty. This policy explains how to report a suspected error and what happens next.
1. What we correct. We act on: factual and clinical errors, including incorrect doses, values, classifications or mechanisms; content that has fallen out of date against current guidelines or official examination notifications; broken or outdated source references; and wording that is ambiguous enough to teach the wrong thing. Matters of legitimate difference between reputable sources are handled by stating the position we follow and, where useful, noting the variation.
2. How to report. Use the report option available alongside content in the MedNext platform, or email hello@mednext.academy with the subject line "Correction". Include the page address or chapter and section, the exact text you believe is wrong, what you believe it should say, and the source that supports the change. Reports with a citable source are the fastest to resolve, but you do not need one to report something that looks wrong.
3. Triage. Reports are triaged by risk and impact. Anything with potential clinical-safety relevance, such as drug doses, contraindications or emergency management, is reviewed first. Exam-critical content is prioritised around active examination cycles. Typographical and formatting issues are batched into routine maintenance.
4. Review. A clinical reviewer checks the reported claim against authoritative sources and decides whether a correction, a clarification, or no change is required. Where sources genuinely differ, we prefer the position of the most authoritative current guideline or standard reference for the intended examination context, and we may note the alternative. We do not make bulk deletions or silent rewrites in response to a report; changes are targeted at the identified issue.
5. Publication. Accepted corrections are published to the affected page or question. Material corrections, meaning those that change clinical meaning, a correct answer, or a value a learner might act on, are recorded internally with what changed and when, so repeat issues can be tracked and audited. Minor copy edits are not individually logged.
6. Timelines. We aim to acknowledge correction reports within 5 working days. Clinical-risk corrections are expedited and published as soon as review completes. Other accepted corrections are normally published within 30 days of acceptance. If we decide no change is needed, we will say so if you asked for a response.
7. Contact. Report errors through the in-platform report option or by email to MedNext Academy Private Limited at hello@mednext.academy with the subject line "Correction".
