The terms that govern use of MedNext Academy services, subscriptions and educational content, under Indian law.

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the MedNext Academy website at mednext.academy, our learning platform, web and mobile applications, question banks, clinical-reference tools and related services (together, the Services). By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who we are. The Services are operated by MedNext Academy Private Limited, a company incorporated in India, CIN U80302TZ2021PTC036762, GSTIN 33AAOCM8576G1ZY, with its registered office at 31 Sangamam Nagar, Podanur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu 641023, India and its main operating address at No. 241 Rangarajapuram Main Road, 4th Floor Ziyad Court, Kodambakkam, Chennai 600024, Tamil Nadu, India (referred to here as MedNext, we, us or our). MedNext Academy Private Limited is a subsidiary of MedNext Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales, the parent company of the MedNext group. Products and services offered by MedNext Limited to users in the United Kingdom are provided under separate terms governed by UK law; those terms do not apply to the Services described here, and these terms do not apply to UK-facing services.
2. Acceptance of these terms. By accessing or using the Services you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, Fair Usage Policy and Accessibility Policy, each of which is incorporated by reference. We may present additional terms for specific features, plans or institutional agreements; where those additional terms conflict with these general terms, the specific terms apply for that feature or agreement.
3. Eligibility. The Services are intended for medical students, healthcare professionals, educators and serious learners of medicine. You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and hold a paid subscription in your own name. If you are a minor, you may use the Services only with the consent and under the supervision of a parent, guardian or institution that accepts these terms on your behalf. The Services are not intended for use by patients for self-diagnosis or self-treatment. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services is lawful in your country.
4. Accounts and your responsibilities. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared, sold, transferred or used by more than one person, except under an institutional or B2B agreement that expressly provides for named additional users. We may apply technical controls, such as session and device limits, to protect against account sharing. Notify us promptly at hello@mednext.academy if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
5. Subscriptions, pricing and billing. MedNext offers phase-based subscription packs covering pre-clinical, clinical and exam-focused study, on monthly or annual terms. For individual (B2C) learners in India, prices shown are in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise; a tax invoice is provided for each payment. For learners outside India, applicable local taxes may be added at checkout or charged by your payment provider. Institutional and business (B2B) access is offered per seat under a separate written agreement, and B2B prices are exclusive of GST unless that agreement states otherwise. A subscription grants access to the content and features included in the selected plan for the paid period. Prices may change, but a change will not affect a period you have already paid for.
6. Auto-renewal and cancellation. Unless you cancel, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current price for your plan, and you authorise us or our payment processor to charge the applicable amount using your saved payment method, subject to any confirmation or e-mandate requirements of the Reserve Bank of India that your payment provider applies. You can turn off renewal or cancel at any time from your account settings before the next billing date; you will retain access until the end of the period already paid. Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable use. You agree to use the Services only for lawful, personal and educational purposes, and in line with our Fair Usage Policy. You must not copy, scrape, redistribute, resell, publicly post or create derivative works from MedNext content; use the Services or content to train, fine-tune or ground machine-learning models; attempt to bypass access controls, paywalls or authentication; share your account; upload or transmit unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, harmful or misleading material, or any material prohibited under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it; interfere with the security or integrity of the Services; or use bots or automated systems to extract content or overload the platform. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that breaches these terms or that we reasonably consider harmful to other users, to MedNext or to the operation of the Services.
8. User content and intermediary status. Some features let you post or submit content, such as community posts, questions, notes or feedback (User Content). You retain ownership of your User Content and grant MedNext a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and process it as needed to operate the Services. You are solely responsible for your User Content and must not post patient-identifiable information. To the extent MedNext hosts, stores or transmits User Content, it acts as an intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and observes due diligence under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, including publishing these terms, acting on lawful takedown requests, and operating a grievance mechanism through the Grievance Officer identified below. We may remove or disable access to User Content that violates these terms or applicable law.
9. Intellectual property. All content on the Services, including chapters, revision materials, questions and explanations, cheat sheets, clinical-reference tools, text, graphics, images, structure, software and branding, is owned by MedNext or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the content for your own learning during your subscription period. No ownership or other rights are transferred to you, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved. If you believe content on the Services infringes your rights, write to hello@mednext.academy with details.
10. Medical and educational disclaimer. MedNext is an educational and revision platform. All content, including chapters, question explanations, clinical pathways, calculators, formulary and drug-interaction references, is provided for learning and examination-preparation purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional clinical judgement, patient-specific assessment, qualified supervision, or current local guidelines and protocols. You must not rely on the Services to diagnose, treat or manage any patient; always verify clinical information, especially drug doses, against authoritative current sources before acting, and in an emergency follow your institution's protocols. While our materials are aligned to recognised curricula and examinations, we do not guarantee any examination result, rank or admission. MedNext makes no warranty that content is complete, current or free of error.
11. Third-party services. The Services rely on trusted third-party providers, for example for payment processing, cloud hosting, analytics and communications. Your use of those integrated services may also be subject to the providers' own terms. Where we link to external websites or resources for reference, we are not responsible for their content or practices.
12. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. MedNext shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, opportunity or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Services or from reliance on any content, including any clinical or examination decision you make. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid to MedNext for the Services in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
13. Your statutory rights. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 or other applicable Indian law that cannot be waived or limited by agreement. MedNext does not engage in unfair trade practices, does not manipulate prices to gain unreasonable profit, and does not misrepresent the quality or features of the Services. Consumer complaints may be raised with our Grievance Officer as described below, without prejudice to your right to approach the consumer dispute redressal fora established under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
14. Suspension and termination. You may stop using the Services and cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these terms, if required by law, or where necessary to protect the Services or other users; where practicable we will tell you the reason and give you an opportunity to respond. On termination, your right to access paid content ends, subject to any refund rights under the Refund Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law, continue to apply.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction. These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Services, are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the right to institute a complaint before the consumer commission having jurisdiction where you reside or work, the courts at Coimbatore, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms. We encourage you to contact us first at hello@mednext.academy so we can try to resolve any concern directly.
16. Changes to these terms. We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to the Services, the law or our practices. When we make material changes we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the platform or by email. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms; if you do not agree, stop using the Services and cancel any subscription.
17. Grievance Officer and contact. In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Intermediary Guidelines 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, our Grievance Officer can be reached at: Grievance Officer, MedNext Academy Private Limited, 31 Sangamam Nagar, Podanur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu 641023, India, email hello@mednext.academy (subject line "Grievance"). Grievances are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within the timelines required by applicable law, and in any case within one month of receipt.
