Indications and dose
**Rolandic epilepsy (self-limited epilepsy with centrotemporal spikes) (under expert supervision) for sultiame**
- **Child (body-weight 12 kg and above)** (By mouth): Initially 2.5 mg/kg daily in 3 divided doses, gradually increase dose over 1 week depending on individual response; usual maintenance 5-10 mg/kg daily in 3 divided doses, discontinue treatment if adequate response not achieved after 1-2 months.
