Indications and dose
**Metabolic diseases for riboflavin**
- **Neonate** (By mouth): 50 mg 1-2 times a day, to be adjusted according to response.
- **Child** (By mouth): 50-100 mg 1-2 times a day, to be adjusted according to response up to 400 mg per day.

- Decreased formation of the active vitamin D metabolite has been associated with protease inhibitors.
