Indications and dose
**Invasive candidiasis**
- **Adult** (By Intravenous Infusion): Loading dose 400 mg for 1 dose, then maintenance 200 mg every week, maintenance dose to be started 1 week after initial loading dose.
Side effects
Common or very common Abdominal pain; anaemia; constipation; diarrhoea; electrolyte imbalance; fever; hypotension; infusion related reaction; nausea; skin reactions; vomiting; wheezing Uncommon Phototoxicity; tremor
Pregnancy
Avoid unless potential benefit outweighs risk (limited information available). M
Breast feeding
