Indications and dose
**Peyronie's disease,Scleroderma**
- **Adult** (By Mouth): 12 g daily in divided doses, to be taken after food.
Cautions
Interrupt treatment during periods of low food intake (such as fasting, anorexia and nausea)-increased risk of hypoglycaemia
Contraindications
Hyperkalaemia; severe liver damage
Side effects
Frequency not known Hepatitis; hypoglycaemia
Pregnancy
Manufacturer advises avoid-limited information available.
Breast feeding
Manufacturer advises unknown if excreted in milk-risk to infant cannot be excluded.
Renal impairment
Caution (increased risk of hyperkalaemia); avoid if eGFR less than 45 mL/minute/1.73 m 2 . M See Prescribing in renal impairment .
