Indications and dose
**Acute otitis media,Barotraumatic otitis**
- **Child** (To The Ear): Apply 4 drops 2-3 times a day, re-evaluate therapy if symptoms do not improve within 7 days or worsen at any time.
- **Adult** (To The Ear): Apply 4 drops 2-3 times a day, re-evaluate therapy if symptoms do not improve within 7 days or worsen at any time.
**Acute otitis media, Barotraumatic otitis for phenazone with lidocaine**
- **Neonate** (To the ear): Apply 4 drops 2-3 times a day, re-evaluate therapy if symptoms do not improve within 7 days or worsen at any time.
- **Child** (To the ear): Apply 4 drops 2-3 times a day, re-evaluate therapy if symptoms do not improve within 7 days or worsen at any time.
Contraindications
For phenazone with lidocaine Perforated tympanic membrane (risk of ototoxicity)
Side effects
For phenazone with lidocaine Rare or very rare Skin reactions; tympanic membrane hyperaemia
Pregnancy
For phenazone with lidocaine Use with caution-no information available but systemic absorption unlikely with intact tympanic membrane. M
Breast feeding
