Indications and dose
**Stimulation of late pre-pubertal growth in boys (of appropriate age) with short stature for oxandrolone**
- **Child 10-17 years (male)** (By mouth): 1.25-2.5 mg daily for 3-6 months.
**Stimulation of late pre-pubertal growth in girls with Turner's syndrome for oxandrolone**
- **Child (female)** (By mouth): 0.625-2.5 mg daily, to be taken in combination with growth hormone.
