Indications and dose
**Inflammatory acne vulgaris**
- **Adult** (To The Skin): Apply twice daily, reduced to once daily or on alternate days, dose reduced if irritation occurs.
**Inflammatory acne vulgaris for nicotinamide**
- **Child** (To the skin): Apply twice daily, reduced to once daily or on alternate days, dose reduced if irritation occurs.
Cautions
With topical use Avoid contact with eyes; avoid contact with mucous membranes (including nose and mouth); reduce frequency of application if excessive dryness, irritation or peeling
Side effects
Frequency not known Paraesthesia; skin reactions
Interactions

- Such interactions include: Agents that can cause pseudotumor cerebri (including certain tetracyclines): Increased risk for pseudotumor cerebri by concomitant administration of Vitamin A Alcohol...
- Decreased formation of the active vitamin D metabolite has been associated with protease inhibitors.
- For specific precautions, refer to deferoxamine product information.
