Indications and dose
**Bacterial skin infections, particularly those caused by Gram-positive organisms (except pseudomonal infection)**
- **Child** (To The Skin): Apply up to 3 times a day for up to 10 days.
- **Adult** (To The Skin): Apply up to 3 times a day for up to 10 days.
**Non-bullous impetigo [in patients who are not systemically unwell or at high risk of complications]**
- **Child** (To The Skin): Apply 3 times a day for 5-7 days.
- **Adult** (To The Skin): Apply 3 times a day for 5-7 days.

- **Child** (To the skin): Apply up to 3 times a day for up to 10 days.

**For eradication of nasal carriage of staphylococci, including meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) for Bactroban Nasal**
- **Child** (By intranasal administration): Apply 2-3 times a day for 5 days, dose to be applied to the inner surface of each nostril, a sample should be taken 2 days after treatment to confirm eradication. Course may be repeated once if sample positive (and throat not colonised).
