Drug action

Cautions
For foslevodopa with foscarbidopa Asthma; endocrine disorders; history of convulsions; history of myocardial infarction with residual arrhythmia; history of peptic ulcer disease; low-salt diet ( Produodopa is high in sodium); open-angle glaucoma; psychiatric illness or history of psychosis; severe cardiovascular disease; severe pulmonary disease
Contraindications
For foslevodopa with foscarbidopa Acute stroke; angle-closure glaucoma; Cushing's syndrome; hyperthyroidism; phaeochromocytoma; severe cardiac arrhythmia; severe heart failure; suspicious undiagnosed skin lesions or history of skin melanoma (risk of activation)
Side effects
For foslevodopa with foscarbidopa Common or very common Abdominal pain; anxiety; appetite decreased; asthenia; cognitive disorder; confusion; constipation; delusions; depression; diarrhoea; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth; dyspnoea; fall; hallucinations; headache; hypertension; hypotension; impulse-control disorder; insomnia; malaise; movement disorders; muscle spasms; nausea; nerve disorders; on and off phenomenon; paranoia; peripheral oedema; psychotic disorder; sensation abnormal; skin reactions; suicidal ideation; syncope; urinary disorders; vomiting; weight decreased Uncommon Dopamine dysregulation syndrome; palpitations
