Indications and dose
**Oestrogen-receptor-positive breast cancer (initiated by a specialist)**
- **Adult** (By Mouth): 345 mg once daily, for dose adjustments or interruption due to side-effects-consult product literature.
Side effects
Common or very common Anaemia; appetite decreased; arthralgia; asthenia; constipation; cough; diarrhoea; dizziness; dyspnoea; gastrointestinal discomfort; headache; hot flush; insomnia; nausea; pain; rash; stomatitis; syncope; urinary tract infection; vomiting Uncommon Acute hepatic failure; embolism and thrombosis
Pregnancy
Avoid (toxicity in animal studies). M
Breast feeding
Avoid during treatment and for 1 week after last treatment (no information available). M
Hepatic impairment
Caution in mild to moderate impairment (risk of increased exposure); avoid in severe impairment (no information available). M Dose adjustments Reduce dose to 258 mg once daily in moderate impairment. M
