Indications and dose
**Vitamin E deficiency because of malabsorption in congenital or hereditary chronic cholestasis**
- **Child** (By Mouth Using Oral Solution): 17 mg/kg daily, dose to be adjusted as necessary.
**Vitamin E deficiency because of malabsorption in congenital or hereditary chronic cholestasis for alpha tocopherol**
- **Neonate** (By mouth using oral solution): 17 mg/kg daily, dose to be adjusted as necessary.
- **Child** (By mouth using oral solution): 17 mg/kg daily, dose to be adjusted as necessary.
Cautions
Predisposition to thrombosis
Side effects
Common or very common Diarrhoea Uncommon Alopecia; asthenia; headache; skin reactions Frequency not known Abdominal pain
Pregnancy
