Why MedNext Exists
MedNext Academy builds structured study tools for medical students and graduates preparing for NEET-PG, INI-CET, FMGE and university examinations. The platform covers 19 subjects, from Anatomy and Physiology through to Surgery, Medicine and Obstetrics, organised around the NMC competency framework.
Most medical education platforms prioritise volume. MedNext prioritises accuracy. Every chapter, every MCQ explanation and every clinical reference is written or verified by clinicians, then checked again before it reaches a learner. That standard is the reason the team exists, and it shapes every role we hire for.
Roles We Hire For
MedNext is a small team. Every person works directly on the product. These are the disciplines we recruit from, either for current openings or future needs.
Medical Content Writers
Clinicians and PG residents who write and verify detailed study notes, MCQ explanations and clinical case scenarios grounded in standard textbooks and current guidelines.
Educational Technologists
Specialists in curriculum design, spaced repetition, assessment methodology and learning analytics who shape how content is structured and delivered on the platform.
Full-Stack Developers
Engineers who build and maintain the platform end to end: Next.js front-end, Node.js services, MongoDB, AWS infrastructure, and the content pipeline that delivers chapters to learners.
Medical Illustrators
Artists who produce anatomical diagrams, clinical algorithm flowcharts, visual cheat sheets and procedural illustrations that meet the accuracy bar for postgraduate-level study.
Community Managers
People who support learners, moderate discussion, gather feedback and help translate real student problems into product improvements.
How We Work
MedNext is registered in India (CIN U80302TZ2021PTC036762) and operates as a distributed team. Most collaboration happens asynchronously. Writers work against chapter briefs with clear accuracy requirements; developers ship against defined specs with automated test gates.
We use AI tools in the workflow, but never as a substitute for clinical judgement. Every piece of medical content is human-authored or human-verified before publication. The role of technology is to support the writer, not replace them.
The team is small by design. There is no middle management layer. Contributors work directly with the founder and with each other. That means high ownership, direct feedback and visible impact on the product.
Common Questions About Working With Us
Are there open roles right now?
Roles are published when they are available. If nothing is listed, we are not actively hiring for that position. We do not maintain a waiting list, but you are welcome to check back.
Do I need to be a doctor to work at MedNext?
Content writing and medical illustration roles require clinical training or equivalent subject expertise. Engineering, educational technology and community roles do not require a medical degree, but familiarity with medical education is valued.
Is this remote work?
Yes. MedNext operates as a distributed team. Most work is asynchronous, with scheduled calls as needed. You will need a reliable internet connection and the ability to manage your own schedule.
Does MedNext charge applicants or promise placements?
No. MedNext does not accept payment from applicants, does not charge application fees and does not promise job placements. If someone asks you to pay to apply, it is not us.
What qualifications do content writers need?
We look for MBBS graduates, PG residents or practising clinicians who can write clearly, cite standard references and meet a factual accuracy bar. Prior experience in medical publishing or education technology is helpful but not required.
